C-RAC

The Council of Regional Accrediting Commissions (C-RAC) today issued a statement expressing gratitude to former WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) President Jamienne S. Studley for her service to the Council and the higher education community. After nearly seven years, Studley stepped down as President of the Commission and assumed the title of Senior Advisor on December 19, 2024.

Dr. Heather F. Perfetti, President of Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and Chair of C-RAC, said, “Jamie’s service to C-RAC and to the higher education community for many years has been impressive. We are most appreciative of the ways that Jamie supported advocacy and federal policy initiatives, always with a focus on students and a commitment to higher education excellence.”

Dr. Christopher N. Oberg has served as the Interim President of WSCUC since December 19, 2024. Dr. A. Maria Toyoda, who serves as Executive Vice President and Provost at Western New England University, will assume the role of President and CEO of WSCUC effective March 10, 2025.
