C-RAC in the News: Dr. Belle Wheelan Discusses the Present and Future of Accreditation in Podcast Episode

In November 2024, Dr. Belle S. Wheelan, President of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) participated in an education-focused podcast titled "Trusted Voices.” Dr. Wheelan discussed the important and historical role of accreditation in higher education, how accrediting bodies are helping institutions improve while holding them accountable, and how accreditors are preparing for potential changes in a new administration while continuing to demonstrate and communicate the value they provide to students and institutions.
