COUNCIL OF

REGIONAL ACCREDITING COMMISSIONS

WHO WE ARE

The Council of Regional Accrediting Commissions (C-RAC) represents the seven organizations responsible for the accreditation of roughly 3,000 of the nation’s colleges and universities. Our work helps ensure that students attending accredited postsecondary institutions in the United States have access to quality education opportunities. The public can feel confident that the colleges and universities accredited by C-RAC members are stable and held accountable for student outcomes.
